Inspiriert von den Eindrücken einer Südafrikareise musste ich meinen eigentlichen Motiv-Plan aufgeben bzw. verschieben. Für eine der größten Ausstellungen (auf ca. 2500 qm) im Gewerbegebiet in Düsseldorf Reisholz, wo wir quasi im Großatelier die Bilder fertigten, war es mir nicht möglich, die erlebten Farben/erlebte Natur abzustreifen und meine eher monochrome Malerei fortzusetzen. Entstanden sind insgesamt in diesem Stil sieben Großformate (hier nur vier abgebildet) und sechs Kleinformate.

Inspired by the impressions of a trip to South Africa, I had to give up or postpone my actual motif plan. For one of the biggest exhibitions (on approx. 2500 sqm) in the industrial area in Düsseldorf Reisholz, where we quasi produced the paintings in the large studio, it was not possible for me to strip off the experienced colours/ nature and continue my rather monochrome painting. The result is a total of seven large formats (only four shown here) and six small formats in this style..
